A journey through some of Western Australia’s most isolated desert country including the Great Victoria Desert, Gibson Desert & Great Sandy Desert

Throughout this journey we’ll trace some of the pioneering footsteps of Australian desert travel traversing a plethora of remote, outback tracks that criss cross the arid West Australian interior making up what is known as the “Western Deserts”

We’ll travel on tracks created as part of the  rocket range project by the late Len Beadell, Mineral exploration tracks from many decades ago enjoying a network or remote & entirely offgrid,off-road adventure camping.

Along the way, we’ll visit various points of interest such as Ilkurlka for a cultural experience, marvel at the GVD Marble Gums, traverse the Old Gunbarrel Highway.  We will also intersect  with early explorer’s trip routes on their pioneering journeys throughout the remote West Australian middle. Many markers from previous expeditions through the desert including Len Beadell’s original markers frequent the tracks so there is always something to look out for.

The remote & expansive desert areas of the Western Australian interior are spectacularly beautiful in their own right & offer the perfect settings for remote bush camping, billion-star skys & spectacular countryside as we cover the magnificent deserts of Western Australia.

Toward the end of our journey, we will dive West into the Pilbara before skirting the desert & arriving at Cape Keraudren on 80 Mile beach.
