Dirk Hartog Island is a breathtaking part of Australia. Contrasting between the Western Coastline & the Eastern Coastline means there is always something to see. Jed tailored the trip & our day to day plans for the weather at the time. We swam with the scared sharks which was a most unusual experience & really enjoyed the laid back feel of the whole trip. If you’re after a holiday that feels like a holiday Jed does a good job of making it feel that way. Note the barge transfers on / off the island are fairly early, but this is done for the best weather conditions.

We towed a camper trailer to DHI, the Barge was a great experience.
We met Jed on the island as we were part of a second trip ( back to back ). We had camps at the main Homestead where Explore WA booked out Buddys Camp – a Rustic structure with flushing loo’s and hot showers so its all you needed really. We headed to the top of the island & saw alot of sights along the way. The elevated drive along the cliffs on the East Coast is spectacular as was Cape Incscription – what a rugged place that is.
Jed is great fun, laid back & is there to help. We really enjoyed out trip, so thankyou.
